Wine Review: This dark red and slightly cloudy colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa has a bit of an Old-World style to it. It opens with a blackberry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and friendly. The flavor profile is a black currant and plum blend with notes of gentle cedar and rosemary. The finish is dry and its dusty mild tannins drift away nicely. I would suggest pairing this Cab with Swedish meatball appetizers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2015 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is brimming with classic characteristics of cassis, bramble fruit and blueberry. The hints of butterscotch on the long, smooth finish are a giveaway of the new, carefully selected French oak barrel influence.
