Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a pear and banana crème pie bouquet with hints of smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, creamy, gentle and lands softly. The flavor profile is a very tasty banana custard with notes of juniper, almond, and honeydew. We also detected hints of vanilla, orange and coconut flakes. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with trout almondine or just sip it on its own. Enjoy - KWGTP
