Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Clarice opens with a latex, green pepper, and red raspberry bouquet with hints of plum sauce and potting soil. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a red plum and saline blend with notes of cranberry, black tea, and cedar. We also detected hints of chalky minerality and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with grilled pork chops with plum mostarda or with stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – KWGTP
