Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant red raspberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of baking spice and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is round, balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is gentle red raspberry and red plum blend with notes strawberry licorice. We also detected hints of cinnamon and cherry-cola towards the end. The finish is dry, and its dusty fine tannins linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a roasted rabbit with cherry sauce or a rack of lamb.
