Wine Review: The boys from Chronic Cellars have done it again. They came up with another winner. This offering, "Suite Petite" just won our recent blind tasting of Petite Sirahs. It is opaque and almost pitch black in color. It opens with a smoky oak and blackberry bouquet. In the mouth, this wine is full bodied, balanced, dense, and provides full palate coverage. The flavor profile is a juicy black currant and boysenberry blend with notes black pepper and chocolate covered black cherries in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its modest tannins are fine and gentle. The panel suggested pairing this tasty gem with slow cooked beef brisket or herb encrusted Colorado rack of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Big, Sexy Petite Sirah has an intriguingly opaque purple color, a fascinating texture and a lingering finish. Full of Blueberries, Blackberries and Sweet Oak. The massive fruit concentration and bright acidity will allow this wine to age for many years to come.
