Wine Review: This light ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon was quite unique. It opens with a strawberry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of marjoram and wintermint. On the palate, this wine was medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, delicate and layered. The flavor profile is a cedar and red plum blend with notes of saline, pomegranate, and Vietnamese cinnamon. We also detected some hints of strawberry Twizzler and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its dusty mild tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Pinot with an herbed pork tenderloin or with bread pudding. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deeper toned red and black berry notes. This Dreamer’s Reserve is a barrel select of Pinot Noir from three different vineyards with varying elevations in the Willamette Valley. Pair with jjajang black bean noodles.
