Wine Review: Garnet in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon carries a nose of anise and lavender. In the mouth, ripe bramble fruits and fleshy plum flavors extend to the mid-palate. The wine is in balance with nicely integrated oak and soft tannins that fade into a medium-long finish. Serve with a fennel sausage and San Marzano tomato flatbread. - Jeoff Hall
Winemaker Notes: A fresh and lively Cabernet with bright fruit and deep spice flavors. The wine opens with dark fruit aromas of cassis and boysenberry, followed closely by wild sage, toasted marshmallow, and amaretto. Round and textured, with acid and tannin in perfect balance, smoky flavors of mocha, roasted coffee bean, and chai spice lead eloquently on the palate. Subtle hints of cumin and clove evolve into a lingering, powerful finish.
