Wine Review: This red blend from Argentina is quite impressive. It is opaque and midnight blue colored. On the palate, this wine is an inviting blueberry and black cherry bouquet with a hint of new leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is an elegant plum with notes of nicely integrated old oak and mild minerality. I also detected a hint of black pepper. The finish is dry and its medium tannins are very sticky and linger for quite some time. This very tasty wine would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
