Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Chenoweth opens with an inviting cedar and teaberry bouquet with hints of blackberry, dark chocolate covered cherries and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced and round. The flavor profile is black cherry and mild cedar blend with notes of gentle blackberry and black plum. I also detected hints of black licorice, green tea, and a touch of teaberry gum at the end. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this Pinot with pan-seared duck breast with a blackberry sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
