Wine Review: This straw colored Riesling from Chehalem opens with very fragrant bees wax, ginger and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe apricot and ginger blend with notes of minerality. I also detected a hint of saline and touch of peach. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors and gentle acidity linger and last for quite a while. This zesty Riesling would pair well with broiled scallops. Enjoy – Ken
