Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Oregon is a winner! It opens with pleasant green apple bouquet with a hint of ginger. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth as silk. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused green apple and Bosc Pear with a hint of ginger ale, mild butter and gentle oak in the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard is one of the top Chard's to come out of Oregon. This vintage is one of the best I can remember. I would pair it with grilled trout fillets with a crunchy pine nut lemon topping. Enjoy - Ken
