Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Oregon opens with a mild petrol and Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a gentile mineral infused Bosc pear with hints of saline and apple. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors leave your mouthwatering and it fades away. This drier style Riesling is food friendly. I would pair nicely with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Platinum, yellow-green hues, with lovely white stone fruits, candied anise seed, lime zest, sugared ginger, spice, and minerality on the nose. White peach and pear, chamomile, light petrol, and mineral flavors continue on the palate, with a luscious tropical and ripe-vintage impression countered by great acidity and focused dryness. The wine speaks impressively of weight, balance, length, and longevity.
