Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot opens with a fragrant cherry vanilla bouquet with a touch of smoke and heat. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild cherry with notes of spice and beet. The finish is dry and its building tannins are noticeable and linger. The panel would pair this nice everyday Merlot with meatloaf and barbecue steak tips. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: "This complex yet approachable Merlot offers aromas and flavors of black cherry, cola, leather and spice. It’s soft and accessible with layers of complexity. I think of it as a great everyday red with Washington style." - Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker
