Wine Review: This ruby colored wine from the Moulin-a-Vent commune opens with a mild strawberry and mushroom bouquet with a hint of vanilla and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of mild blackberry and spice. I also detected hints of black jellybean in the after taste. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This 2020 Cru level Beaujolais is very food friendly and would pair nicely with grilled steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
