Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape from Chateau de Vaudieu opens with boysenberry and pencil shavings bouquet with hints of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and black cherry blend with notes of dried strawberry and oak. We also detected some hints of blueberry in the mix. The finish is dry, and its integrated tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Panel thought this CDP would pair well with your favorite pork tenderloin recipe. Enjoy – KWGTP
