Wine Review: The fresh and layered red blend from the southern Rhone valley in France is a deep purple color, and the nose includes red plum, black currant, wild strawberry, lavender, spicy black pepper, chocolate, and smokehouse aromas. On the palate, it is juicy, balanced and round with medium plus acidity and a medium body. Very approachable yet nuanced. There are flavors of red plum, strawberry, oak, red cherry, stony minerality and chocolate, along with some notes of clove, cola, and rosemary. Light grippy tannins, and a long slightly spicy finish. Pair this GSM with a slow roasted garlic and rosemary lamb shoulder. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: A blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, this is a fleshy wine with a dense red color with purple highlights, the Sentiers de Septembre Rouge will please you with its character. The vintage offers a concentrated nose of black fruits and cherry along with displaying mineral notes. When tasting, you will appreciate a wine that is full and heady, with perfectly integrated tannins. The final persistence of black currant, black licorice, and spices brings a fresh dimension to this cuvée. A distinguished, fresh, and pleasant wine.
