Wine Review: This coral colored wine from Bordeaux opens with a match stick and strawberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused strawberry with notes of red cherry and with hints of tangerine and watermelon in the background. The finish is dry and its mild tannins fade away. The value priced Rose would pair well with a turkey burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a pale but vivacious strawberry Rose color with a gentle nose of fine, clean and intense fresh red berry flavors which after a little air develops further soft aromas of grapefruit, raspberry and tomato leaf along with delicate mineral characteristics. On the palate, it shows the same register of complex, mouthwatering red summer fruits with a soft touch of finely rounded menthol characters coming from the Cabernet Franc. It is very long and fresh, rich yet light and perfectly balanced by a lovely refreshing acidity and a dry finish that lingers seductively.
