Wine Review: This pitch black colored Bordeaux blend opens with a mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile of this friendly wine is a tasty mild blueberry with hints of gentle oak and faint black current in the background. The finish is dry and its fine tannins linger for quite some time. This crowd pleasing quaffer is very food friendly and would pair well with lots of foods. I would pick Theresa’s homemade meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep, dark and ruby in color with an elegant, concentrated nose. Attractive, bold aromas of crushed berries (blackcurrants, blackberries and black cherry) with notes of flint, tar and cloves. On the palate, the powerful structure is nicely balanced by tannin and ripe dark fruit.
