Wine Review: This purple-colored Cabernet Sauvignon blend opens with a very inviting boysenberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and tart cherry blend with notes of blackberry and black olive. I also detected hints of oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this Cab based blend with bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, you will find notes of peony, violet and raspberry emerge. Delectable, long lasting and powerful on the palate. Can you make out those floral, fruity notes of wild strawberry and cherry? Pay close attention to the polished, long-lasting tannins.
