Wine Review: This opaque dark ruby colored Rhone grape blend from Minervois opens with a fragrant red raspberry and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused black currant with notes of oak and black pepper. I also detected a hint of black tea. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors are slightly prolonged. I would pair this wine with a pepper encrusted strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
