Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from down under opens with mild green apple and bees wax like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of Anjou pear. The finish is dry-styled and nicely refreshing. This is one on the better Aussie Rieslings that I covered this year. Fans of this style will really like this wine. I would pair it with crab stuffed halibut. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: GRAND BAROSSA Riesling is subtle yellow in color, displaying delicate lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits. Lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit are in abundance. The palate is focused, pure and linear with a delicious juicy finish. Elegant and intense with a touch of minerality and refreshing acidity.
