Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Shiraz opens with a very inviting blueberry bouquet with hints of tiramisu and rum spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is an extracted black currant and menthol blend with notes of espresso and hints of old oak. The finish is dry and its reasonable and moderate tannins linger for a little while. This juicy wine would be a good match for a messy rack of ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Grand Barossa Shiraz epitomises the premium international reputation for Shiraz which has made the Barossa Valley famous. An intense and complex wine with berry fruit aromas, mild spicy notes combined with well integrated vanilla oak flavours. The typical restrained "Chateauness" is our cellar style of earthiness and genuiness with long lingering flavours.
