Wine Review: This light straw Riesling from Washington State is consistently very good. The 2013 opens with an attractive pear and green melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly semi-sweet and still displays nice mouthwatering acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty upfront fruit consisting of ripe pear with notes of melon and minerality. The finish is semi-sweet and refreshing. I would pair this tasty Riesling with broiled scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Eroica Riesling offers sweet lime and tangerine aromas with subtle mineral notes. The mouth-watering acidity is beautifully balanced by flavorful Washington Riesling fruit. Eroica is a blended statement of the finest Riesling vineyards in the state. To achieve our Eroica style we strive for bright fruit with crisp acidity and enhanced mineralilty.
