Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Washington State opens apple bouquet with a hint of lemon and pilsner beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is an apple and pear blend with hints of lemon, minerality and butterscotch in the end. The finish is dry and its fades away nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with chicken, broccoli and penne with a cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The warmth of the Wahluke Slope and our Cold Creek vineyard produces a Chardonnay with an appealing tropical fruit character and rich, creamy texture. This Chardonnay delivers ripe pineapple flavors with brown sugar notes. I like this wine with scallops, scampi or pasta with rich sauces.
