Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling opens with a light lemon and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, juicy, and shows some good life. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon tea with hints of apple. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors last for quite some time. Joe and I thought this Riesling would pair well with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2012 Eroica Riesling offers sweet lime and peach aromas with subtle mineral notes. The mouth-watering acidity is beautifully balanced by flavorful Washington Riesling fruit. Eroica is a blended statement of the finest Riesling vineyards in the state. To achieve our Eroica style we strive for beautiful bright fruit with crisp acidity and enhanced minerality. Matching Foods: Asian dishes, Indian curries, crab, and scallops.
