Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Washington State is a very nice weekday offering. It opens with a mild pear and bee's wax bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, slightly acidic and semi-sweet. The flavor profile is a mineral infused pear with faint hints of quince and peach towards the end. The finish is semi-dry and it moderate acidity and fruit linger nicely after the wine is gone. This pleasant Riesling would be perfect with Korean shrimp dumplings. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Columbia Valley Riesling is a blend of Riesling from throughout Washington's Columbia Valley. We craft it to be a refreshing, off-dry Riesling vintage after vintage. The wine delivers ripe white peach character with subtle mineral notes. This is our "every day Riesling" that is a pleasure to drink and easy to match with a variety of foods.
