Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Washington State is an oak lover's dream. It opens with a vanilla oak influenced pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and voluptuous. The flavor profile is a butter rum and oak influenced pear with hints of apple. The finish is dry and its flavors are very nicely prolonged. This Chard would pair well with chicken and wild mushrooms ravioli with a butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Cold Creek Chardonnay is typified by concentration and intensity from the 40-year-old vines and warmth of the site. This Chardonnay is a decadent style with ripe fruit and a toasty character.
