Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cabernet is very easy to drink and an impressive value Cab. It opens with a black raspberry and musty old oak bouquet with a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and rather smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe black cherry with notes of blueberry and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its fine tannins make it very food friendly. I would pair this wine with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Indian Wells Cabernet is our warm climate, ripe, jammy New World style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Vineyards in the area are more than a decade old now and showing character and complexity. This lush wine reveals fruit forward blackberry and cherry flavors and dark fruit aromas. Serve with stuffed peppers, blue cheese, duck, beef, veal, lamb, or dark chocolate.
