Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cabernet opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of black currant and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and gentle blackberry blend with a hint gentle oak. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are sticky and longer for a very long time. This wine would pair well with a juicy Angus bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Planted by vineyard manager Mimi Nye in 1991, our vineyard at Canoe Ridge Estate has grown before our eyes to produce more concentrated and opulent wines. This wine shows amazing intensity to go with ripe cherry fruit. The Canoe Ridge Estate Cab is a beautifully balanced wine that is a classic expression of Washington fruit.
