Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored blend from Medoc opens with a smoky oak and black cherry bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild mineral infused black cherry with hints of red plum and black tea. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger and show very nice length. The wine is food friendly and would be perfect with a juicy Kobe burger smothered with sauteed mushroom and Swiss. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A very ripe, suave style, showing modern mocha, licorice and black tea aromas that lead the way for a solid core of blackberry and plum, with a velvety finish. There's ample toast, but it's integrated.
