Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend from Chateau Peynaud opens with a white grapefruit and lime zest bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is saline, mild white grapefruit and lychee blend with notes of white tea and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger slightly. I would pair this good value white blend from Bordeaux with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken
