Wine Review: This pale white gold colored white blend from the Ventoux region of the Rhone Valley is a very good value. It opens with an Anjou pear and green tea bouquet with hints of green apple and Camembert cheese. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, gentle, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a green apple and stone dust blend with notes of green tea and saline. I also detected some hints of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This white blend is very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a roasted chicken or broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Very limpid color with silver reflections.
Nose: White flowers and citrus aromas with lime notes.
Mouth: Beautiful tension and freshness with citrus aromas (lemon and grapefruit), exotic fruits (lychee) and white fruits.
Food & Wine Pairings: Ideal as an aperitif, Terrasses white will match very well with vegetables appetizers, grilled fishes, or seashells (cockles with chopped parsley and garlic) and light cheeses (cheesy raviolis).
