Wine Review: This very dark red colored blend from Lanquedoc opens with a cinnamon French toast and sage brush bouquet with hints of forest floor. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The flavor profile is a spiced plum and crushed gravel blend with notes of Taza seriously dark chocolate. We also detected hints of green pepper, cedar and black tea. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger nicely. The panel suggested pairing this very good value wine with several dishes. Steak fajitas, venison stew or a cassoulet. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep dark red robe. Intense aromas of fruits and flowers, especially violet and blackberry. Unctuous in the mouth, with notes of spices and licorice, this is a powerful and concentrated wine. Pairs well with grilled meats and cheeses of character.
