Wine Review: This bright white gold colored Chardonnay Chateau Montelena opens with a vanilla, mango, and oak bouquet with hints of green apple and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lemon with notes of ripe honeydew melon and green apple. We also detected some hints of vanilla, oak, and basil in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel thought this excellent Chard would pair well with grilled halibut with imperial crab meat. Enjoy - KWGTP
