Wine Review: This very dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Margaux opens with a black currant and black cherry bouquet with some hints of wood tones. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and savory. The flavor profile is a red plum, black currant, and cedar blend with notes of stony minerality and loam. I also detected some hints of black cherry and black olive mixed in. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for a while. This wine paired well with my braised short ribs and mushrooms. Enjoy - Ken
