Wine Review: This dark red colored blend from Malartic Lagraviere was my favorite from a recent tasting of many of the 2015 Grand Cru Bordeaux. It opens with a red plum bouquet with hints of cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced and savory. The flavor profiles is a delicious black currant and minerality blend with notes of gentle oak in the background. I also detected hints of black licorice in the background. I loved this wine's finish. It was dry and its moderate well-managed tannins sail away for a very very long time. I would pair this gem with slow cooked short ribs. Enjoy – Ken
