Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Chateau Leoville Barton is very good. It opens with an attractive blueberry bouquet with hints of chocolate and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused black plum with notes of black currant with a touch of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length and stick around for quite a while. This wine would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
