Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from St. Julien opens with a wet stone and black plum bouquet with hints of shoe leather, basil, and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright. The flavor profile is a tart black cherry and cedar blend with notes of marionberry and tobacco. We also detected hints of black plum and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins are nicely extended. This young wine would pair well with filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This nectar shows firstly its dense and intense purple color. Then it reveals a dazzling nose of black fruits and black cherry with minty and spicy notes. The palate is powerful, structured and reveals the great precision of the tannins. The suppleness and roundness of the wine stretch the endless tasting.
