Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from St. Julien opens with a black cherry and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced plum and mild black cherry blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up a little before they fade away nicely. This wine would pair well with a juicy Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken
