Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot based wine from Pomerol opens with a black cherry, blueberry and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a black tea, black plum and cedar blend with notes of triple sec and Skoal. The finish is dry, and its managed sticky tannins linger and last for a very long time. We would pair this impressive offering with a New York Strip or picanha steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
