Wine Review: This deep pink colored wine from Tavel is delicious. It opens with a fragrant maraschino cherry, wet stone, and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious maraschino cherry and chalky minerality blend with notes of orange zest and lime. I also detected a hint of wild strawberry at the very end. The finish is on the dry side and very refreshing. I would drink this Rose slightly chilled with good friends. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A bright cherry pink, this Tavel rosé shows aromas of ripe strawberries and blood orange. On the palate, this complex and balanced wine has notes of anise, grapefruit and pomelo with a mineral streak. It has good length.
