Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Lebanon opens with a smoky oak and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and clean. The flavor profile is a toasted oak and black plum blend with notes of black tea and graphite. I also detected hints of black currant and black olive. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this Cab with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Brilliant ruby color. Splendid nose of coffee and chocolate grilled and toasted, vanilla and cassis. Explosive mouth of red and black fruits, with remarkable and elegant tannins. Exceptional finish. As our father used to say "this is a manly wine."
