Wine Review: This pale coral colored Rhone blend from the Languedoc opens with a flint, strawberry and rose petal bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with gentle integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, soft, round and very easy to drink. The flavor profile a subtle chalky minerality and white peach blend with notes of gentle red plum. I also detected some hints of watermelon. The finish is dry and refreshing. This crowd-pleasing Rose will not last long when served cool on a hot day. It’s quite a quaffer. Try it with chilled shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine opens with medium-intense aromas of yellow melon, firm mango and just-ripe peach. The palate starts off medium in weight, with moderate ripe fruit tones and a slightly creamy texture that continues to the close. Following right behind this, a bright yet ripe citrus tone lends lift and freshness to the finish. It's a well-balanced and tasty pour.
