Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine from Pauillac opens with a black cherry and boysenberry bouquet with hints of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a mild cedar influenced gentle cherry and graphite blend with notes of milk chocolate. I also detected hints of red plum. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This easy drinking Bordeaux is very food friendly. I would pair it with pair with chateaubriand for two. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright, deep red color. Expressive nose with notes of fruit underscored by a hint of caramel. Good attack on the palate. Delicate and silky, this is a beautifully rounded, well-balanced wine. Long, pleasantly uniform finish.
