Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored wine from Fronsac was my favorite in a mini-tasting of mid-tier 2015 Bordeaux offerings. It opens with a cola, black cherry and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral and black currant blend with notes of black cherry and blueberry. The finish is rather dry and very extended. This offering would benefit from some decanting in the near term. After 30+ minutes, serve it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
