Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Chateau Biston Moulis opens with a cedar and cassis bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and complementary. The flavor profile is cedar and cassis blend with notes of stone dust and green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its dusty tannins linger for a bit. I would pair this good value red blend with a carnitas burrito. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: We have made a wine of good quality: well colored, with a floral nose, endowed with a rich melting substance. Cabernet Sauvignon, a great success of the vintage, gives structure, length and will ensure good hold for aging. Aging in oak barrels will bring additional finesse and complexity to this promising blend, which is already harmonious and perfectly balanced. Perfect table companion for starters such as charcuterie and cheeses. Drink from 2 years of age. Keep 5/6 years.
