Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored wine from Chateau Beychevelle is impressive. It opens with an old oak, match stick and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant with notes of plum. I also detected hints of blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. I would pair this gem with a skirt steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The first tastings are very promising. They show generous, fruity and fleshy wines with deep colour. At this stage, the 2015 vintage seems to us to be the perfect outsider to the magnificent 2005!
