Wine Review: This very deep ruby colored wine from St. Emilion opens with a cedar and faint red cherry bouquet with hints red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated minerality. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is cherry and gentle oak blend with notes of tea and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this food friendly Merlot based wine with a veal chop. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Greatly profound nose with a beautiful concentration. A notable restraint evoking elegance, basket of little black fruits. Complex, good roundness along with generosity and gourmandize, the freshness seals it all together creating a delicate wine with great distinction.
