Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley opens with a very fragrant pink grapefruit bouquet with hints of lemon-lime and nectarine pit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and gentle, yet fresh and bright at the same time. The flavor profile is a pink grapefruit and guava blend with notes of mild lemon and saline. I also detected some hints of asparagus and white tea towards the end. Its flavors and acidity drift away nicely on the finish. I would pair this very flavorful Sauvignon Blanc with fish and chips. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fruit for our Sauvignon Blanc, principally sourced from our historic St. Helena estate. This light-to-medium bodied wine displays vibrant aromas of white floral/lemon blossom, lemon verbena, honeydew melon, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, pink guava, lime skin and lemongrass. On the palate it is sweet and crisp, with flavors of pink grapefruit, guava, lemon blossom, bartlett pear, and lemon grass.
