Wine Review: This white gold colored Champagne from Charles Heidsieck displays an initial burst of fine tiny streaming bubbles. It opens with an almond and light pear bouquet with hints of lemon curd and toast. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and bright (Flat – bubbles disappeared) The flavor profile is white tea and almond blend with notes of chalky minerality and green apple. We also detected hints of pineapple, croissant, lemon, and ginger ale. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair Brut Champagne with quiche. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Made with 50% of reserve wines give and elegant nose: freshly baked brioche, roasted notes, and ripe sun-kissed fruits - mango, apricot, and Mirabelle plum as well as dried fruits, pistachio and almond. The texture evokes the crunch of a layer of creamy nougat, with fleshy fruits like plums and cherries. The smoothness is provided by the selection of reserve wines. The finish reveals amber and vanilla notes as well as a touch of praline.
